1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to Amane Bot ("Amane" or "the Bot"), operated by Anemone Bot ("we," "us," or "our"). By installing or using the Bot, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Bot.

2. Use of the Bot

Amane is a free, non-commercial Discord bot for server administration. It provides features such as channel analysis, forum report generation, role-based access controls, voice waiting-room management, and operational direct messages.

You must comply with applicable laws, Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and your server's rules. You may not use the Bot for spam, advertising, harassment, unlawful activity, unauthorized data collection, mining or scraping, bypassing permissions, or interfering with Discord or the Bot.

3. Administrator Responsibilities

Server owners and administrators are responsible for how they configure and use the Bot. Analysis and export commands may be used only for channels and content they are authorized to access. Direct messages may be sent only for relevant operational notices and only where the recipient has given any permission required by Discord or applicable law. Unsolicited bulk messages and repeated unwanted messages are prohibited.

4. Privacy and Third-Party Services

Our handling of information is explained in our Privacy Policy. The Bot operates through Discord and may retrieve public media metadata from services such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their availability or practices.

5. Availability

The Bot is provided free of charge and on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or accurate. Reports and third-party metadata may be incomplete or outdated. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Bot or any feature at any time.

6. Liability and Termination

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses or damages resulting from use of, or inability to use, the Bot. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited. We may restrict access to the Bot if it is misused or if these Terms, Discord's rules, or applicable law are violated. You may stop using the Bot at any time by removing it from your server or discontinuing its use.

7. Changes and Contact

We may update these Terms from time to time by updating this page. Continued use of the Bot after an update means you accept the revised Terms. For questions, support, or reports of misuse, email anemone.support@proton.me or contact us through the support channel in our Discord server.
